History
The series' inaugural season was marred with problems with a staccato schedule made even worse by cancellations: at one point, the field sizes dropped low as just sixteen cars. Fortunately, certain marquee events (the series became the new home of the Macau Grand Prix) allowed the series to be a qualified success ahead of the 2021 FIA Formula 3 Restructure.
